Shipping Policy - the basics

RushRoot® Shipping Policy

Effective Date: April 14, 2025

At RushRoot LLC (“RushRoot,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we’re dedicated to getting your high-protein drinks and supplements to you quickly and reliably. This Shipping Policy explains how we process, ship, and deliver orders placed through rushroot.com (“Website”). It complies with California law, where RushRoot is based, and applies to all U.S. orders. Please read this policy before ordering, as it forms part of our .

 

1. Shipping Destinations

  • We currently ship to all 50 U.S. states, including Washington, D.C., and U.S. territories (e.g., Puerto Rico, Guam).

  • We do not ship internationally at this time. Orders must have a valid U.S. shipping address.

  • Sorry, we cannot deliver to P.O. boxes or APO/FPO addresses due to carrier restrictions for our Products.

 

2. Shipping Rates

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order’s weight, dimensions, and destination. Rates are displayed before you confirm your purchase, per California’s transparency requirements.

  • Sample Rates (subject to change):

    • Standard Shipping: $5.99 flat rate for orders under $50; free for orders $50+ (contiguous U.S.).

    • Expedited Shipping: $12.99–$19.99, depending on order size and location.

    • U.S. Territories: $15.99–$29.99, based on carrier rates.

  • Taxes (where applicable) are added at checkout, separate from shipping costs.

  • Promotional free shipping may apply during special offers, announced on the Website or via email.

 

3. Order Processing

  • Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays) after payment verification.

  • Order Confirmation: You’ll receive an email with your order details upon submission. This does not guarantee inventory availability. If an item is out of stock, we’ll notify you within 24 hours and issue a refund for unshipped items, per California law.

  • Backorders: If a Product is temporarily unavailable, we’ll contact you to offer a delay, substitution, or refund. We won’t ship partial orders unless you approve.

 

4. Delivery Times

  • Estimated Delivery:

    • Standard Shipping: 3–7 business days (contiguous U.S.).

    • Expedited Shipping: 1–3 business days (contiguous U.S.).

    • U.S. Territories: 7–14 business days, depending on location.

  • Delivery times begin after processing and are estimates, not guarantees. Delays may occur due to weather, carrier issues, or high demand (e.g., promotions).

  • We’ll provide a tracking number via email once your order ships, so you can monitor its progress.

 

5. Shipping Carriers

  • We partner with trusted carriers like USPS, FedEx, and UPS to deliver your order.

  • Carriers are selected based on cost, speed, and reliability for your location. You cannot choose a specific carrier, but we’ll ensure the best option for your order.

  • RushRoot is not responsible for carrier delays beyond our control, but we’ll assist in resolving issues (see Section 8).

 

6. Risk of Loss

  • Risk of loss and title for Products transfer to you upon delivery to the carrier (e.g., when we hand off to USPS). This aligns with California’s Uniform Commercial Code (Cal. Com. Code § 2401).

  • If your order is lost or damaged during transit, contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date at support@rushroot.com. We’ll work with the carrier to resolve it, offering a replacement or full refund, including shipping costs, per California’s CLRA.

 

7. Order Issues

  • Damaged or Incorrect Items:

    • If you receive damaged, defective, or incorrect Products (e.g., wrong flavor, broken can), notify us within 7 days of delivery at support@rushroot.com or 1-800-xxx-root.

    • Include your order number and photos of the issue. We’ll provide a prepaid return label and issue a replacement or full refund (including shipping) within 10 business days of receiving the return.

  • Non-Delivered Orders:

    • If your order doesn’t arrive by the estimated delivery date, contact us within 14 days. We’ll investigate with the carrier and provide a replacement or refund if the package is lost.

  • Undeliverable Orders:

    • If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal, or failed delivery attempts, we’ll contact you. You may choose a refund (minus shipping costs) or reshipment (you pay new shipping). We’re not responsible for errors in address entry.

9. California Consumer Rights

  • Under California’s CLRA, you’re entitled to clear shipping terms and remedies for non-delivery or defective Products. If we fail to ship within promised timelines, you may cancel your order for a full refund, processed within 10 business days, per Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code § 17538.

  • If you believe your rights have been violated, contact us at support@rushroot.com. You may also pursue legal remedies as permitted by California law.

 

10. Updates to This Policy

  • We may update this Shipping Policy to reflect changes in carriers, rates, or laws. Updates will be posted here with a new “Effective Date.” Material changes (e.g., new fees) will be notified via email or Website notice at least 30 daysin advance, per California’s transparency rules.

  • Orders placed before updates are governed by the policy in effect at purchase.
